#Earthtweet by Brighter Planet: A Huge Thanks to Our Partners
What a whirlwind. In just one month, our friends on Twitter have posted more than 4,000 #earthtweet messages, and @earthtweet has more than 1,500 followers. More than 40 prizes have been given away, all donated by a wonderfully generous group of partners.
We want to thank ALL our partners and acknowledge all the winners of #earthtweet giveaways — here’s the complete roster:
- 4/30: @estelle89 tweeted about reusing old jeans and took home a tote bag from Project Green Bag and a supercool TapGuard water filter from @GuyotDesigns. (What’s a TapGuard filter, you might ask? Watch this.)
- 4/29: @peterellis won himself a Studio 15 Laptop from Dell for his suggestion that businesses look at server virtualization for their web and network needs.
- 4/28: A @PromoteGreen recycled-materials umbrella went to @smileysnj for reminding us that we don’t need gadgets for everything.
- 4/28: @jamesfehon will now be able to keep a Sigg waterbottle at bedside to slake his thirst after any exertions.
- 4/28: @mgarone810 scored a copy of Simply Going Green, donated by author Kaayla Canfield.
- 4/27: @iDewDesigns won a passel of natural cleaning products from EcoDiscoveries for a great suggestion — plant a “rain garden.”
- 4/27: @IslandPress’s donated copy of Unquenchable: America’s Water Crisis and What to Do About It, by Robert Glennon, went to @nitram99blue for an original suggestion.
- 4/27: An organic-cotton hoody, beanie, and tote bag from @PromoteGreen went to @crewseek for providing 411 on stopping spills at the gas pump.
- 4/24: @Lzbyd went out and did something good, and in return scored a gift basket from Preserve.
